Phenotype
Seedlings with short hypocotyls, oval-shape cotyledons with no petioles, absence of rosette growth, a very short inflorescence develops directly from the embryo or callus; the inflorescence shoots contain few small sessile leaves or sepals and floral organs with incomplete floral development; often produce a prominent pistil, usually no petals or stamens are detected; homozygous plants are sterile.
